For businesses

Root a year where you are.

A root is one local business's annual commitment for Tree credits in its own ZIP, not one specific Tree. One business per category, per ZIP, per year. The payment stands whether or not a Tree opens in the ZIP that year. An unused credit rolls on in that ZIP, for the next family.

How a root works

  • What you give

A year of Tree credits in your ZIP, paid in advance, before any of it had happened. The family never pays and is never counted.

  • What you get

The Root mark for the year, “rooted here by” your name on the outside of every Tree in your ZIP, and a year-end report. Never the inside, never a family’s name.

  • Who we do not root with

Never a business that could profit from the family’s hard year.

Kim prepares every Tree; you share it. Kim is software, not a person, and always says so. How a Tree works

Tree of Hope is a paid, private service from Tribe Giving LLC, a for-profit company. It is not a charity and is not affiliated with any hospital, foundation or charity. Money a business pays is never handed to the family; what the family receives is the year of people, and anything a business sends itself, like the flowers.
