Choose tomorrow's clothestonight
Five minutes before bed: lay out what you will wear tomorrow, down to the socks, so the morning starts already decided.
Mornings are full of small decisions. This practice moves one of them to the evening, when there is time to choose something you like.
The steps
Four small steps,in your own time.
Before bed, look at tomorrow: what you are doing, where you are going, what the weather will be.
Choose the clothes, all of them, including shoes and a layer.
Lay them out on a chair or hang them on the door, ready.
Add one thing you like: a scarf, a ring, a shirt that feels good. In the morning, just get dressed.
The reason
Why it helps
Deciding in the calm of the evening usually means choosing better and rushing less. A morning with one fewer decision tends to go a little more smoothly, especially when someone else needs you. And clothes chosen with a little care help you feel like yourself on a day that might ask a lot.
A gentle variation
If even this feels like too much, choose just the top and the shoes, and let the rest follow in the morning.

WE · TRIBE
Try itwith someone.
Do it alongside a child or the person you look after, so both of you have the morning decided.
Try it today
Tonight, before bed, lay out everything you will wear tomorrow, and add one thing you like.

Keep the rail one in, one out
When something new comes into the wardrobe, one thing goes out. The rail stays the same size, and everything on it gets worn.
